The event included the raising of the national flag, the national anthem, a minute of silence, and a prayer for the souls of the martyrs. In his speech, the ambassador highlighted the immense sacrifices made by the Algerian diaspora against colonial repression, noting that these historic struggles remain deeply embedded in the national consciousness.
