The fifth international scientific days for medical analysis laboratories, known as «Salam Days», concluded with a strong call for closer collaboration between physicians and medical biologists. Under the theme «Clinical Biological Consultation for the Patient's Benefit», the event emphasized that accurate laboratory results are fundamental to effective clinical decision-making. Dr. Ali Benjamaa, head of the Algerian Syndicate of Blood Analysis Laboratories, stated that laboratories must now act as key partners throughout the entire patient care process. The scientific program covered critical topics including endocrinology, oncology, and microbiology. Participants highlighted the need for improved coordination to prevent diagnostic errors and urged for a regular dialogue with public authorities to address professional challenges, such as the supply of reagents and the necessity of updating regulatory frameworks to ensure high-quality, safe medical services.
