Tassili Travail Aérien, a subsidiary of the Sonatrach group, has successfully completed the technical acceptance of two new Cessna SkyCourier aircraft manufactured by Textron Aviation. This purchase marks the first order of this specific model worldwide configured for air ambulance missions, as well as the first acquisition of the SkyCourier type in Africa. These aircraft are designed to support passenger transport, medical evacuations, and special operations, thereby enhancing operational efficiency and supporting Algeria's energy sector. The planes will be based in Algiers and Hassi Messaoud. The U.S. Embassy praised the achievement, highlighting the strong commercial ties between the United States and Algeria.
