The city of Oran is currently hosting the inaugural "Biscuitea" salon, an event dedicated to the biscuit and confectionery industry, featuring around 30 domestic and international exhibitors. Running until October 16, the trade fair serves as a hub for businesses and industry professionals to network and share technical expertise. Riad El Heri, the event's communications officer, stated that organizers aim to establish this as an annual fixture in the national economic calendar to boost local production quality. The exhibition includes international participation, such as a major German firm, and offers a platform for foreign experts to share their professional knowledge with Algerian operators through dedicated conferences.
