Oran: International criminal network of 61 Moroccan nationals dismantled

The General Directorate of National Security has reported the arrest of 61 Moroccan nationals in Oran for illegal entry into Algeria. Investigations indicate that these individuals belong to a dangerous international criminal organization that was planning acts of sabotage against public order. The operation, conducted in early October by the judicial police, led to the apprehension of the entire cell, which included a former member of the Moroccan military. The suspects had entered the country via Tunisia, crossing through the forests of El Kala before reaching Oran. Police seized passports and various currencies during the operation. All 61 suspects have been brought before the specialized criminal court in Oran.
