CR Belouizdad vs Mauritanian Customs match postponed in Confederation Cup

CR Belouizdad's management has confirmed the postponement of their first-leg match against the Mauritanian Customs club in the second preliminary round of the CAF Confederation Cup. Following an official communication from the Confederation of African Football, the move complies with a directive from the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS). Originally scheduled for Saturday in Nouakchott, the match has been rescheduled for early November, with an official date to follow. The postponement stems from an urgent appeal by Guinea's Hafia Conakry, challenging the CAF's decision to replay their first-round qualifier. The Guinean club maintains that the Mauritanian side's failure to appear in Conakry on September 11 was an avoidable organizational issue rather than a case of force majeure.
