Skikda: Launching a 'Little Filmmaker' workshop for children

As part of the second 'Rusicada Film Gathering' in Skikda, a 'Little Filmmaker' workshop has been launched to train children in cinema production. Supervised by producer and director Lotfi Farhati, the six-month program takes place every Saturday and is open to participants aged between 8 and 14. The initiative aims to equip the younger generation with skills in photography, directing, lighting, and sound, shifting their perspective from passive viewers to active creators. Through hands-on experience, children will explore the technical and artistic processes of filmmaking, helping them identify their specific talents within the industry. The training will conclude with the creation of a film produced entirely by the children themselves, showcasing their collaborative efforts. The cultural event, supported by the local department of culture and arts, spans over three days.
