Air Algérie Adds Sixth Airbus A330neo to Its Fleet

Air Algérie has officially received its sixth Airbus A330-900neo, marking a new milestone in its fleet renewal program initiated in 2023. Named "Ras El Afia" after the historic lighthouse in Jijel, the aircraft honors the memory of victims and the resilience of the local population following recent wildfires. Registered as 7T-VJG, the jet features a 308-seat configuration across business, premium economy, and economy classes, equipped with in-flight Wi-Fi and advanced entertainment systems. This new addition is 25% more fuel-efficient than previous models, supporting the airline's environmental and operational goals. With four more A330neos expected, the company continues its expansion plan, which aims to strengthen its international network by 2035.
