The president of the National Independent Authority for Elections (ANIE), Saïd Aroussi, led a virtual training session this Saturday involving provincial and municipal coordinators, as well as IT engineers from across the country. The meeting focused on the technical and logistical preparations for the local assembly elections scheduled for November 28, 2026. During the session, Aroussi emphasized the importance of selecting polling station officials based on integrity, neutrality, and professional competence. He further stressed the necessity of strictly adhering to legal requirements, particularly regarding conflicts of interest involving familial ties with candidates, to ensure the integrity and transparency of the electoral process.
