The Guelma water company expects improved service in Aïn Ahsainia following the completion of an upgrade project at a pumping station that serves approximately 9,000 residents with water from the Bouhamdane dam. The renovation included civil engineering works and the installation of four new pumps with a total capacity of 78 liters per second, flowing through new pipelines via gravity. The new equipment, now fully operational after five months of construction, is intended to increase daily pumping rates to city reservoirs. This enhancement aims to satisfy the rising demand for drinking water and reduce waste caused by outdated infrastructure.
