Fateh Boutoubiq, President of the Pan-African Parliament, is participating in the 7th annual meeting of the HEAL initiative, held in Lugano, Switzerland, on October 11-12, 2026. Organized by the NGO Partners for Patients, the summit gathers global experts in healthcare and medical legislation. Boutoubiq is scheduled to deliver a keynote speech titled "Prioritizing Health in Africa," focusing on improving access to medical care, promoting innovative treatments, and the legislative role in oncology support. This visit aligns with the Pan-African Parliament's efforts to foster international cooperation and advance the health-related goals of the African Union's Agenda 2063.
