Ahead of the upcoming meeting between the President of the Republic and business leaders, Minister of Industry Ferhat Kourtel held two working sessions to evaluate the status of the state-owned groups FERROVIAL and GETEX. The discussions focused on production capacities, profitability, current projects, and the various challenges hindering their industrial development. Regarding FERROVIAL, which specializes in railway equipment, the meetings addressed ways to improve efficiency and strengthen production tools to meet market demand. For the textile and leather group GETEX, the evaluation focused on enhancing product competitiveness in the domestic market and exploring new export opportunities to bolster their overall contribution to the national economy.
