A significant operation to curb illegal urban expansion was carried out in Hassiane Toual, Benfreha. Supervised by the local municipal head and security forces, the mission resulted in the demolition of 15 incomplete houses, 10 non-compliant finished structures, and 48 foundations. Authorities also removed 18 livestock enclosures and seized construction materials. This campaign, aligned with the Oran wali’s directives, brings the total number of demolished illegal structures to approximately 200 since the beginning of the year. Furthermore, legal complaints have been filed against individuals involved in illegal land sales, including unauthorized transactions on forest land. These measures aim to protect public land reserves and restore order to the town's urban development.
