The Wali of Algiers, Mohamed Abdenour Rabehi, inspected the construction site of the « Bouadou » multi-story parking facility in Bir Mourad Raïs. Once completed, the structure will provide space for more than 600 vehicles, contributing to the city's ongoing efforts to alleviate parking congestion. During the site visit, the Wali issued instructions to speed up construction and requested the development of the surrounding areas, including potential leisure spaces. As of now, the project remains a worksite, with no official timeline or costs disclosed. This development is part of a strategic modernization program for the capital, which also encompasses the restoration of the Sacred Heart Cathedral and several mobility-related initiatives, such as the upcoming intermodal station in Bir Mourad Raïs and other parking infrastructure projects across the Algiers province.
