The judicial police in the Cheria district of Tebessa have arrested a suspect involved in drug trafficking. The operation was launched following intelligence reports regarding illicit activities in a city neighborhood. Upon his arrest, authorities seized 684 pills of 300 mg pregabalin and 80 grams of cocaine, along with cash suspected to be proceeds from his criminal activities. The suspect has been referred to the local public prosecutor to face charges of possession and transport of psychotropic substances for illegal sale, as well as the illegal practice of a health profession.
