The Socialist Forces Front (FFS) has strongly criticized the Independent Electoral Authority's handling of its candidate applications for the local elections scheduled for November 28. In a statement signed by First National Secretary Youcef Aouchiche, the party described these exclusions as arbitrary and unconstitutional, noting that they specifically target prominent candidates and party leaders with significant public support. The FFS argues that the selective and politically motivated application of Articles 1 and 184 of the electoral code turns the law into a tool for exclusion, undermining the integrity of the vote. The party warns against using the moralization of public life as a cover for political purges and calls for a review of all unjustified rejections to restore the civil and political rights of the affected candidates.
