Education Ministry Announces Curricular Reforms for Primary Schools

The Ministry of National Education has introduced a new temporal organization for Arabic language and mathematics instruction in primary schools to address learning difficulties. Under the new guidelines, the Arabic curriculum will shift to a schedule of six weeks of learning followed by a full week dedicated to integration, evaluation, and pedagogical remediation. Regarding mathematics, schools are now required to hold specific remediation sessions before moving on to practical application tasks. This reform aims to optimize classroom time, ensure that students master essential concepts, and allow teachers to provide differentiated support tailored to each pupil's performance level.
