The fourth annual competition for the cleanest village and neighborhood in the wilaya of Béjaïa has concluded with the victory of the El-Houma Ouvazine neighborhood and the village of Aguemoune Nath Amar. Organized by the People's Provincial Assembly, the event aims to promote ecological awareness and community participation. A ten-member jury evaluated candidates based on cleanliness, heritage conservation, and environmental management. As part of the prizes, Aguemoune Nath Amar received five million dinars, while El-Houma Ouvazine was awarded two million dinars. Beyond the rankings, the ceremony served to recognize local activists and civil society organizations for their voluntary work and dedication to improving the living environment.
