Following the presentation of his credentials to President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, the new Maltese Ambassador, Christian Zammit, commended Algeria's constructive efforts in fostering regional peace and stability. Zammit highlighted that Malta views its relationship with Algeria as a priority and remains committed to deepening coordination on both bilateral and multilateral levels. As an EU member, Malta supports the expansion of economic cooperation and trade exchanges with Algeria.
