On October 26 and 27, the wilaya of Guelma will host the National Thermal Tourism Forum. Organized by the Ministry of Tourism and Handicrafts, the event will welcome over 200 attendees, including experts, investors, academics, and diplomats, to discuss the future of the thermal sector in Algeria. Guelma, recognized for landmarks like Hammam Debagh and Hammam Ouled Ali, serves as an ideal location to highlight the country's therapeutic water resources. The forum aims to promote Algeria’s natural wealth while focusing on key development pillars such as the modernization of thermal stations, professional training, and investment incentives. Participants will engage in workshops, an exhibition for economic operators and start-ups, and field visits to local thermal sites. Ultimately, the event seeks to boost local economic growth and improve the overall quality and visibility of the Algerian tourism product.
