The second edition of the National Arabian Thoroughbred Championship, held at the Blida Equestrian Club, saw a massive turnout that exceeded organizers' expectations. A total of 76 breeders from across the country competed for prizes valued at 1.4 billion centimes. The event was judged by an international panel, including experts from Qatar and Italy, who evaluated the horses based on their physical structure, movement, and Arab breed characteristics. The championship featured traditional equestrian displays, cultural exhibitions, and falconry, highlighting local heritage. The overwhelming number of spectators led to traffic congestion around the stadium and filled the stands to capacity, forcing many attendees to enjoy the side cultural exhibitions instead.
