Brahim Ghali reaffirms the Sahrawi people's commitment to self-determination

Sahrawi President Brahim Ghali stated on Thursday that his people will maintain their struggle and resistance to secure the right to self-determination and independence. Speaking during a meeting with a high-level delegation from the Committee of Intelligence and Security Services of Africa (CISSA), Ghali emphasized that this pursuit remains a deeply rooted conviction despite various hardships. The President also condemned the systematic repressive measures enforced by the Moroccan occupation in the Sahrawi territories for over fifty years, asserting that such actions will not diminish the people's resolve. The CISSA delegation visited the Sahrawi refugee camps in Tindouf to review the activities of local human rights and demining organizations, concluding their visit with a cultural event showcasing Sahrawi heritage.
