National security forces have dismantled two organized criminal groups involved in cocaine trafficking, resulting in the arrest of ten people, including one foreign national. Over 110 kg of cocaine were seized during operations in Tamanrasset and In Salah. In Tamanrasset, authorities recovered 82 kg of cocaine, vehicles, and cash. Meanwhile, in In Salah, police discovered an additional 27 kg hidden within vehicle frames. The suspects have been brought before the public prosecutor at the specialized penal pole of Ouargla.
