Abderraouf Omrani, accused of involvement in forest fires in Guelma, has exposed his ties to the terrorist Amir Boukhors, known as "Amir DZ". Based on his confessions released by the Ministry of National Defense, Omrani began communicating with "Amir DZ" and others, including Zitoune and Hichem Aboud, via messaging apps in February 2025. The suspect claimed that "Amir DZ" urged him to set fire to the Bouchegouf region, offering in return a visa to France and the arrangement of a "sham marriage." Omrani admitted purchasing 5 liters of gasoline to carry out the arson at 3:00 PM. Additionally, he alleged that French officials contacted him, promising a luxury car and housing if he worked to establish a communist party in Algeria, stating these offers followed coordination with "Amir DZ."
