The Confederation of African Football has approved the request submitted by USM Alger and the Algerian Football Federation to relocate their two matches against Equatorial Guinea's The Panthers in the CAF Confederation Cup. Originally set to take place in Douala, Cameroon, both fixtures will now be held at the 5 July Stadium in Algiers. The club management proposed this arrangement to ensure home advantage for both legs with the presence of local fans. The first leg is scheduled for Tuesday, October 20, at 8:00 PM, with the return leg taking place at the same venue and time on Sunday, October 25. This decision allows the team to begin their continental title defense on familiar ground supported by their supporters.
