The National Higher Maritime School in Bou-Ismail officially opened its 2026-2027 academic year this Thursday, coinciding with the signing of a cooperation framework agreement with key industry players. The partnership involves the Port Services Group 'Serport', the Algerian Maritime Transport Group 'Gatma', and 'Hyproc Shipping Company'. Following instructions from Minister of Transport Saïd Sayoud, this initiative seeks to improve maritime and port training systems. By bridging the gap between academia and the economic sector, the agreement aims to bolster pedagogical activities and enhance the professional qualifications of national human resources.
