The 2027 Arab University Rankings now feature 50 Algerian institutions, an increase from the 46 listed in the previous edition. Issam Boudia, a member of the national committee for the promotion and ranking of universities, stated that the University of Annaba leads the national rankings, followed by the universities of Guelma and Tlemcen. This growth highlights the rising regional academic presence of Algeria and underscores the ongoing efforts of higher education institutions to enhance their scientific and academic standing.
