The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research has selected 937 innovative projects for the second edition of the national challenge 'Protomarket 2', following a review of 2,110 applications. A total budget of 1.188 billion dinars has been dedicated to this initiative, providing an average funding of 1.27 million dinars per project. The program aims to turn creative ideas from students and researchers into marketable prototypes, strengthening the role of universities in economic development and start-up growth. Supported by 98 academic institutions, the selected projects span eight technological sectors, including artificial intelligence, digital platforms, and pharmaceutical solutions. Through university incubators, participants receive guidance to enhance the technological maturity of their inventions, aligning academic research with the requirements of a knowledge-based economy.
