Religious training: Cameroonian graduates praise the quality of Algerian education
Cameroonian students who graduated from the National Institute for Specialized Training in Teleghma (Mila) have praised the high standard of religious education they received in Algeria. During their three-year program in imamat and preaching, they focused on the values of tolerance, coexistence, and the rejection of extremism. Ibrahim Mbombo Moubarak, President of the Islamic Union of Cameroon, emphasized that this training, based on the Maliki rite, strengthens the cooperation between the two nations. Algeria's Ambassador to Cameroon, Abdallah Boukemmache, highlighted the historical ties between the countries and announced plans for further free training sessions for Cameroonian youth. Over the past five years, the institute has trained 25 African students, reflecting Algeria's commitment to promoting a moderate and scientific religious model across the continent.
