The fifth round of the Algerian Ligue 2 amateur football championship saw major changes in the standings for both regional groups. In the Centre-West, USM Blida secured the top spot following a 2-0 victory over WA Tlemcen, capitalizing on the postponement of RC Kouba’s match. Meanwhile, in the Centre-East, MSP Batna climbed to first place after defeating JSD Jijel 2-1, a result that left the latter at the bottom of the table. CR Béni Thour claimed its first win of the season against IRB Nezla (2-1), moving out of the last position. Notable performances included ASM Oran’s 6-1 thrashing of JS Taghit, NA Hussein Dey’s 3-0 win against MC El Bayadh, and JSM Skikda securing second place in their group after a narrow 2-1 victory over NC Magra.
