From October 18 to 29, the city of Tizi-Ouzou will host a fair centered on honey and bee products. Located at the old town hall square, the event is coordinated by the Association of Professional Beekeepers of the Djurdjura Massif, the local Chamber of Agriculture, the Agricultural Services Directorate, and the municipal council. The initiative serves to highlight local production, providing apiculturists with a platform to market their goods directly to consumers. Beyond sales, the fair will feature educational sessions on beekeeping practices and the vital importance of bee conservation for agricultural pollination. The event will also honor Ali Meterfi, recognizing his lifetime commitment and contributions to the development of the beekeeping sector in the region.
