A passenger train collided with a concrete mixer truck this Monday morning in Bir Slam, Béjaïa. The accident resulted in 18 injuries among individuals aged between 23 and 64, with four victims taken to the hospital. Civil protection teams deployed four ambulances and an intervention vehicle to the site. The causes of the collision are currently unknown, and the national rail transport company has yet to release a statement. Additionally, a separate incident occurred on Sunday in Sidi Bel Abbès, where one person died after being struck by a train.
