The water utility company has announced temporary disruptions in water supply across several municipalities in the western part of the capital due to maintenance works aimed at improving the distribution network. The affected areas include Sidi Abdellah, Mahelma, Rahmania, Zeralda, Staoueli, Cheraga, Ain Benian, Hammamet, Baba Hassen, Tessala El Merdja, Saoula, Bir Khadem, Djasr Kasentina (Ain Malha), Bouzareah, Beni Messous, Rais Hamidou (Sidi El Kebir), Bologhine (Zghara), and Oued Koriche (Boufrezzi). These operations will last four days, with the water supply schedule expected to return to normal gradually starting from the evening of Thursday, October 22, 2026, following the completion of the work and the refilling of the main reservoirs.
