Occupational risk prevention: Minister of Labour emphasizes proactive strategy

Minister of Labour, Employment and Social Security, Mohamed Hattab, held a coordination meeting with officials from the National Institute for the Prevention of Occupational Risks (INPRP) to review the institution's contribution to workplace health and safety. The discussions focused on strategies to minimize work-related accidents and occupational diseases. Minister Hattab stressed that safety should be an integral part of daily corporate culture rather than just a compliance measure. He called for a transition towards a proactive model, urging the Institute to increase field presence, improve data analysis tools, and develop targeted training programs for high-risk sectors. The aim is to better support employers in identifying hazards and to leverage modern communication tools to raise awareness among workers.
