Customs officers from the multi-purpose brigade of Still, operating under the El Oued customs inspectorate, have successfully dismantled a drug smuggling ring. Acting on intelligence, officials executed a coordinated operation, intercepting a scout vehicle used to monitor for security checkpoints, followed by a truck carrying onions. A thorough search of the truck led to the discovery of 97,050 psychotropic pills hidden within the cargo. Two suspects involved in the incident have been brought before the local public prosecutor to face legal proceedings.
