Torino coach praises the attacking prowess of Algerian international Rafik Belghali
Ignazio Abate, the head coach of Italian club Torino, has lauded the technical abilities of Algerian international Rafik Belghali. Abate, a former defender who reached the Euro 2012 final with Italy, admitted that Belghali possesses an attacking instinct that surpasses his own during his playing days. Despite the praise, the coach emphasized the need to refine the player's defensive positioning and physical fitness, noting that he arrived at the team without a full pre-season. Coming off a stellar performance against Parma, where he provided two assists in a 3-0 away win, Belghali is now focusing on the upcoming Serie A fixture against Monza.
