Constantine province has officially commenced the 2026-2027 plowing and sowing season, aiming for a harvest exceeding 2.27 million quintals of grains. The strategy involves expanding cultivation areas to 91,000 hectares and improving technical yields. To support these goals, over 165,000 quintals of certified seeds have been secured, with quality control overseen by the National Center for Seed Control and Certification (CNCC). Efforts also include upgrading farm machinery, training 458 harvester operators to minimize harvest waste, and streamlining financial and administrative processes through single-window offices to better support local farmers.
