The city of Skikda will host the second edition of the "Rusicada Film Encounters" from October 17 to 19, held in memory of the late artist Djamel Hamouda. This cultural initiative, managed by the local directorate of culture, seeks to promote filmmaking and provide a platform for young talent. The three-day event includes intensive workshops on children's cinema and screenplay writing, alongside academic debates on film production featuring directors and journalists. Screenings will feature notable works such as "Yasmina", "Ahmed Bey", "54", and "La Mémoire". In addition to the film screenings, the festival will honor several actors and directors, as well as the family of Djamel Hamouda. The activities will take place at the El Alia cinema hall and the Mohamed-Siradj house of culture.
