Minister of Industry Farid Kourtel visited the wilaya of Oum El-Bouaghi to inaugurate two industrial facilities in Aïn M’lila. The first unit, focused on manufacturing vehicle and industrial filters, has a production capacity of 3,000 units per day with an investment of 1.195 billion dinars. The second facility, producing motor oils and lubricants, has an annual output of 25,000 tons, an investment of 1.2 billion dinars, and has created 207 direct jobs. Throughout his tour, the Minister emphasized the need to boost national integration, utilize local raw materials, and maintain competitive pricing and high product quality. He also inspected plants producing automotive spare parts and brake pads. In Meskiana, he highlighted the importance of industrial land for productive investment, and in Aïn Beïda, he inaugurated a pharmaceutical packaging unit, concluding the visit with a meeting with local business operators.
