The visibility of Chinese automobile manufacturers in Europe is steadily rising, driven by improved technology and well-structured product offerings, according to Serge Gachot, director of the Paris Motor Show. The upcoming event will feature over 60 manufacturers, with Chinese firms demonstrating a stronger presence than ever before. Gachot highlighted that these brands are now prioritizing design, embedded technology, and digital user experiences alongside competitive pricing. Furthermore, many are beginning to localize operations, including R&D and production, strengthening their role within the European industrial landscape. As electric vehicle sales continue to climb in key markets like France and Germany, the perception of the car is shifting. Modern vehicles are increasingly viewed as mobile hubs for entertainment, work, and connectivity, reflecting a major evolution in how the industry designs for the passenger experience.
