On Saturday, October 24, the Minister of Industry, Ferhat Ait Ali, met with a delegation from the company 'Tersam', which operates in the field of industrial and agricultural machinery. During the meeting, the progress of the company's current investment project and the level of local integration were reviewed. The Minister highlighted the importance of increasing local content and supporting the national subcontracting network to benefit the domestic industry and reduce import costs. According to the ministry, the discussion also covered the possibility of expanding the company's scope to include passenger car production, either by broadening the current project or launching a separate new investment. In this context, the firm is engaged in negotiations with global manufacturers to establish a partnership for a fully integrated passenger car manufacturing facility.
