Prime Minister Sifi Gherib officially inaugurated this Saturday the permanent committee tasked with monitoring and processing import requests, in alignment with presidential directives and the provisions of Executive Decree 26-327. The installation ceremony was attended by key figures from the financial and economic sectors, including the Minister of Finance, a representative from the Bank of Algeria, the head of the Professional Association of Banks and Financial Institutions, and the chairman of the Algerian Economic Renewal Council. The committee is mandated to evaluate import applications and provide urgent processing for essential products, ensuring the supply of the national market and the continuity of production processes to foster investment and maintain product availability for the public.
