During his visit to the 8th May 1945 University in Guelma, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Kamel Baddari, announced the operational launch of the 'fourth generation university' model. This initiative aims to integrate the university into the economic sphere by turning academic research and innovative student ideas into wealth and job-creating ventures. The minister reviewed various startup projects, ranging from desert agriculture to artificial intelligence and water management, urging students to secure official labels and seek funding for their initiatives. The visit also featured the signing of cooperation agreements between the university and major national entities, such as Cosider, to enhance student training programs and strengthen research partnerships.
