Local Elections: Political parties face uncertainty over candidate list approvals
Political parties are experiencing a period of intense anticipation as they await the National Independent Authority for Elections' ruling on replacement candidate files. There is growing concern that lists could be disqualified entirely if more than two candidates are rejected. While smaller and larger parties alike have submitted alternative names to meet requirements, the final status of their lists remains pending. Simultaneously, groups such as the FLN and MSP are preparing for the campaign starting November 4th. Internal discussions are underway to utilize incumbent parliamentarians in field operations, shifting the electoral focus toward grassroots engagement and addressing local citizen concerns to win votes.
