Capago, the service provider handling French visa applications in Algeria, issued a reminder on Sunday, October 25, 2026, regarding entry requirements for its centers. To gain access to the facilities in Algiers, Annaba, Constantine, and Oran, applicants must present their appointment confirmation, which must feature a valid QR code. This document can be presented either in digital form on a mobile device or as a printed copy, provided the QR code is clearly legible for scanning. The provider emphasized that this requirement is solely for appointment verification and does not impact the visa decision process, which remains under the authority of French consulates. All applicants, including children under 12, are required to attend in person with their full application files and the mandatory confirmation.
