The public urban and suburban transport entity in Batna is preparing to launch bus line 14, providing a direct route between the Hamla 3 residential area, the University Hospital, and the city center. Passing via the Oued El Azreg bridge, the route includes strategic stops such as Naouara Mosque, the Brahimi hotel area, and the Bouzghaia commercial center, aiming to ease access for patients, medical staff, and residents. This project supports the region's urban expansion. In related efforts to improve safety, the local transport directorate is removing buses aged 25 years or older from service, particularly in urban areas. This is complemented by the introduction of over 50 new buses and the issuance of special permits for taxis to modernize the transport fleet.
