The National Products Exhibition in Blida, held from October 17th to 20th with over 80 exhibitors, saw significant interest from more than 20 ambassadors and diplomatic representatives. Led by the Minister of Foreign Trade and Export Promotion, Kamel Rezig, the delegation explored the high standards of Algerian food products, with various nations expressing a strong desire to boost economic ties and facilitate exports. The Minister stated that Algeria has achieved self-sufficiency in most food sectors and is now focusing on penetrating international markets in Africa, Europe, and the Arab world. The expo showcased a diverse range of items, including dairy, beverages, and cooking oils. A notable highlight was the announcement of the 100% local production of baker's yeast, a strategic step to curb import dependency.
