Coinciding with the National Blood Donors Day, the Dr. Ben Badis University Hospital Center in Constantine has launched a significant blood donation campaign that will run through the end of October. This humanitarian effort aims to support local health facilities while fostering a spirit of solidarity and volunteering. According to Khaled Bouzenda, head of the Blood Transfusion Center, the goal is to promote citizen cooperation. To ensure the campaign's success, multidisciplinary medical teams have been deployed in collaboration with local associations and mosques. Abdallah Mekireche, from the regional blood donors' association, highlighted the importance of awareness-raising to encourage regular donations. Various public and private entities, including commercial centers, are participating in this regional solidarity movement, which will conclude with a tribute ceremony for regular donors on November 7.
