MC Alger’s management has addressed speculation about the club’s next sporting director. In a statement issued on Monday afternoon, it said it had held no talks or negotiations with any of the names mentioned in local media.
The club said it was reviewing the matter carefully and responsibly, in line with its project and objectives. It added that it would not rush a decision and would wait until all the required conditions and criteria were met. The management also urged people to rely on the club’s official channels and avoid circulating reports or speculation not issued by its media office.
With substantial financial backing, including the presence of Sonatrach, MC Alger remains highly sought after. The sporting director’s role is also in demand and covers several matters, including player recruitment.
