The High Commission for Amazighity (HCA) will participate in the 29th Algiers International Book Fair (SILA 2026) by introducing 15 new publications dedicated to heritage, history, and knowledge. These works reflect the institution's ongoing efforts to promote the Amazigh language and document Algerian culture. Highlighted among the new releases are three academic references: a study on the legal status of the Amazigh language produced with the Ministry of Justice, a work on Amazigh manuscripts written in Arabic script originating from a national seminar in Boussemghoun, and a book on the «culture of resistance» marking the 70th anniversary of the Soummam Congress. The full 2026 catalogue further encompasses various subjects, including literature, linguistic studies, and the humanities.
